How light helps refresh the look of photo-aged skin.
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. Unlike a traditional facial, IPL uses carefully selected pulses of broad-spectrum light to target visible pigmentation, redness, and uneven tone beneath the skin’s surface.

The IPL device delivers controlled flashes of light into the skin. Different wavelengths are absorbed by pigment and visible redness while the surrounding skin is protected.
Brown spots may gradually darken and flake away, while visible redness can look calmer as the treated areas respond over time.
As the skin renews, clients may notice a more even-looking complexion, improved radiance, and a fresher overall glow. Results vary and a consultation confirms candidacy.

What is included in the $199 offer?
The special includes a personal skin consultation and one IPL Photo Facial treatment. The usual listed value is $500, and your provider will review your skin goals, history, and candidacy before treatment.
How many IPL sessions will I need?
Many clients notice brighter, more even-looking skin after treatment, but for best results most people need a series of 3–4 IPL sessions. Your exact plan depends on your skin type, sun damage, redness, pigmentation, and how your skin responds.
Is there downtime?
IPL is non-surgical and typically has minimal downtime. Temporary redness, warmth, mild swelling, or darkening/flaking of pigment can happen as the skin renews. The clinic will review aftercare, including sun protection, before you leave.
Who is IPL best for?
IPL may be a fit for concerns like sun spots, brown spots, redness, uneven tone, dullness, and visible photo-aging. A consultation is required to confirm whether IPL is appropriate for your complexion and concerns.
Are there any IPL contraindications?
IPL may not be suitable if you are pregnant, recently tanned or sunburned, using certain photosensitizing medications, have active infection/open lesions in the treatment area, have a history of light-triggered seizures, or have certain pigment conditions or darker skin types that may carry higher risk. Skin Solution MedSpa will review your medical history and skin type before treatment to make sure it is safe for you.
